FLOORGUARD EPOXY

FLOORGUARD EPOXY SELF LEVELING

FLOORGUARD EPOXY SELF LEVELING is a 2-pack Self -Levelling Epoxy formulated from high grade resins and curing agents specially for flooring application. It is lead – free and non – toxic when fully cured. It hardens to an abrasive resistant coating, high bonding strength on properly prepared substrate such as concrete and steel. OPTICOAT ESL is water impermeable and has excellent resistance to oil, solvents, alkalis and most dilute acids.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces must be dry and free from oil, grease and other contaminants. It should be primed with a compatible primer, FLOORGUARD EPOXY PRIMER an be applied by brush, roller, conventional spray or by airless spray equipment. To paint over a previous coat, it is necessary to sand it lightly to provide a good toehold for the next coat spray application.

APPLICATION: The first coat must be firmly applied and scrubbed into the surface ensuring a uniform coating. Second and subsequent coats may then be applied as necessary allowing 4-5 hours between each coat.

COVERAGE: 12-15 sqm per gal depending on the method of application, the thickness of deposit and the texture and porosity of the substrate.

FLOORGUARD EPOXY FLOOR COATING (EFC)

FLOORGUARD EPOXY FLOOR COATING (EFC) is two components, polyamide cured epoxy glossed coating formulated from carefully selected, highest grade epoxy resin and curing agent manufactured under strict quality control standards. Ideal for floor topping of new and existing flooring of food processing plants, chemicals and pharmaceutical factories, sugar and oil refineries.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces must be dry and free from oil, grease and other contaminants. It should be primed with a compatible primer, FLOORGUARD EPOXY PRIMER an be applied by brush, roller, conventional spray or by airless spray equipment. MIXING: Stir thoroughly the base component prior to the addition of the catalyst. Use a powerful mixer to attain a homogenous mixture. For the conventional spraying EPOXY REDUCER may be added to the mixture 10% by volume. Allow minutes induction time before application.

FLOORGUARD CONCRETE

FLOORGUARD CONCRETE FLOOR TOPPING

FLOORGUARD CONCRETE FLOOR TOPPING. A cementitious pre-packed polymer modified repair mortar specially designed for resurfacing, patching and repairing large areas of concrete. It is supplied as a single component powder which only needs mixing with a specific quantity of water to produce a non-shrink and rapid strength- gain mortar. It is based on a blend of cement, aggregates and modifying additives.

MIXING: Measure 4.0 to 4.5 liters of water into a clean container. Slowly add 25 kgs (1 bag) FLOORGUARD CONCRETE FLOOR TOPPING into the container and mix slowly with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a homogenous and lump-free mix is obtained.

APPLICATION: Prior to placing the prepared areas should be saturated. Strike off the surface to the correct level and finish with a steel trowel. If a textured finish is required, this can be done with sweeping brush.

CURING: Rapid moisture loss from the exposed surface may result in plastic cracking.

FLOORGUARD EPOXY

FLOORGUARD EPOXY MORTAR

FLOORGUARD EPOXY MORTAR is a three-component cementitious epoxy modified self-leveling mainly used for floor topping applications. Because of its excellent mechanical strength and bonding property, it can also be used in various construction applications such as concrete repair.

PRIMER APPLICATION. Apply 2 coats of FLOORGUARD EPOXY PRIMER 100 to the substrate to ensure a stable system. Certain high porous substrate may benefit from the application of FLOORGUARD DEEP PENETRATING SEALER.

APPLICATION. Apply the mortar on the surface with a spatula or a trowel. Smoothen the surface. The setting occurs within 2 to 5 hours. The material will achieve its maximum strength of >12,000 psi after 1 day.

SECURE THE AREA TO ENSURE PROPER CURING For wide area, creating a partition every 25 sqm is highly recommended to avoid cracks from any seismic movements.

FLOORGUARD NON-SKID

FLOORGUARD NON-SKID PU

FLOORGUARD NON-SKID PU Is a three component solvent-based polyurethane coating with chemically treated silica grains to provide a durable non-skid finish with outstanding resistance to abrasion, splash and spillage of acids, solvent, alkalis, salt and others corrosive and staining chemicals. It has an excellent color retention and gloss even with long term exposure to highly corrosive environments or changing weather patterns.

All surfaces must be dry, smooth, sound and free from dirt, dust and other foreign materials.

Mix together base and curing agent components in recommended quantities. Stir thoroughly the base component prior to the addition of the curing agent. Agitate to obtain a uniform homogenous mixture.

Apply a thin layer of mixed OPTICOAT PU COATING using a paintbrush, roller brush or sprayer on the substrate. Allow at least 4 hours before re-coating (may depend on site condition). Full cure time is 3 days.

COVERAGE: 24-28sqm/gallon per coating.
